The perfect blend of Jimmy’s brilliant guitar mastery paired with Enrique’s dazzling percussion makes for a truly electrifying performance. Their international personal history conveys a unique essence to their show that has universal appeal and truly brings “Joy to the World”.

Guitarist Jimmy Patton and percussionist Enrique Platas have combined their talents to form this award-winning duo. Their music can be described as having an international flair as they incorporate flamenco, middle-eastern, salsa, calypso, brazilian, and other world rhythms into their compositions and arrangements. Jimmy and Enrique's musical collaboration has given creation to their unique, fiery world-music style that has captivated audiences from all over. Listeners will experience virtuosic guitar passages accompanied by exotic percussive rhythms, which together produce a sound that will grab the soul.

New Village Arts Theatre was founded in April 2001 by graduates of New York's Actors Studio Drama School and is now in its twelfth season of producing critically-acclaimed theatre in North County San Diego. New Village Arts opened their new theatrical space in the heart of Carlsbad Village in June of 2007, and the Art Foundry (14 working artist studios) in August of 2009. NVA presents a music series with performances several times per year.
