Carousel tells the bittersweet story of carnival barker Billy Bigelow's romance with mill worker Julie Jordan through Richard Rodgers's unforgettable music and Oscar Hammerstein's II's eloquent lyrics and dialogue.

Popular Philharmonic Favorites Nathan Gunn and Kelli O'Hara are reunited as Billy and Julie in this iconic box office hit which ran on Broadway for 890 performances and Metropolitan Opera star Stephanie Blythe, "a force of nature" (The Washington Post), appears the cast as Nettie Fowler, singing the affecting "You'll Never Walk Alone."
