Sing for Hope, a non-profit organization that mobilizes a corps of more than 500 professional artists in volunteer service programs that benefit communities in need, joined forces with Yale University to present an evening of song performed by distinguished Yale alumni. Songs for Our Future took place in honor of Yale's "Day of Service", and as a benefit for Sing for Hope's Informance Arts program, which brings dynamic arts education to underserved New York City public schools.

The evening was directed by Andy Sandberg with music direction by Justin Hatchimonji.

All proceeds went towards preserving arts education in New York City's public schools through Sing for Hope's Informance Arts program.

Guided by a belief in the arts as a vehicle for social change, Sing for Hope is a non-profit organization that mobilizes a corps of more than 500 professional artists - from classical musicians to photographers to Broadway performers - in high-impact volunteer service programs that benefit communities in need. Founded in 2006, Sing for Hope provides three programs: Gala Arts (specially designed benefit concerts that raise awareness and funds for humanitarian causes), Informance Arts (educational outreach initiatives for underserved children) and Healing Arts (in-hospital performances that complement the healing process). Each Sing for Hope project is defined by the volunteerism of professional artists and our belief in the transformative power of the arts. Sing for Hope is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization.
