The Lynch Theater at John Jay College Announces Fall 2009 Season, Features Eli Wallach & More

The Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College announces its Fall 2009 Season at the Gerald W. Lynch Theater at John Jay College, 899 Tenth Avenue, NYC, presenting three series: The Art of Justice, which integrates the arts and issues on justice; Great Music for a Great City, unique explorations of classical music; and Familytime!, bringing the arts to the next generation.

As Dvo?ak taught America about its own heritage and spirituals, this concert presents music by composers he influenced as well as his own inspired compositions including the Piano Quintet and Gypsy Songs, featuring the Afiara String Quartet.

The Little Orchestra Society, music director Dino Anagnost, presents Lolli-PopsTM for children ages 3-5. Bow the Panda, Toot the Bird, Buzz the Bee and Bang the Lion - each representing a different family of the orchestra - playfully help Mr. Maestro teach the ABC's of music! You may have seen and heard Peter before, but not this way! Prokofiev write this timeless classic for his children - enjoy it as it is brought to life by Bang, Bow, Buzz and Toot in a version that will bring a smile to every child's life.
