The Ware Center to Present Cellist Jerome Wright and Pianist Glen Sales, 11/3

On Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 7:30pm, The Ware Center presents Cellist Jerome Wright and pianist Glen Sales in benefit concert. They will be performing works by Bach, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff.

Cellist Jerome Wright has performed with numerous ensembles in Washington, DC and Sao Paulo, Brazil. As Assistant Principal of the State Symphony Orchestra of Sao Paulo, Brazil, he played under the direction of Maestro Eleazar de Charvallo and later performed with the United States Army White House Strings and the Army Orchestra. More recently, he has played with the Washington Ballet Piano Trio, Washington Ballet String Quartet and accompanied members of the American Ballet Theater at the Kennedy Center. Mr. Wright studied with John Martin of the National Symphony Orchestra, George Niekrug, and Yehuda Hananni and others who have served as his mentors. Mr. Wright has also achieved success as a painter and had his works featured in an exhibit at The Ware Center earlier this year.
