Utah Symphony artistic and administrative leadership will announce programming for the Utah Symphony's 2013-14 Season at a press conference. The panel will then be opened up for questions following the announcements. The announcement is set for Wednesday, February 6. Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and the announcement, with short Q&A, begins at 1 p.m.

In attendance will be Thierry Fischer, Utah Symphony Music Director; Jerry Steichen, Utah Symphony Principal Pops Conductor; Vladimir Kulenovic, Utah Symphony Associate Conductor; and Melia Tourangeau, President and CEO, Utah Symphony | Utah Opera.

The event takes place at Abravanel Hall, First Tier Room, 123 South West Temple in Salt Lake City, UT. Enter the building through the Abravanel Hall Ticket office and wait by the elevator to be directed to the First Tier Room by a USUO staff member.

After another spectacular season of both fresh and beloved symphonic music, Music Director Thierry Fischer will continue with his new traditions, programming his third ambitious symphony cycle and commissioning a third world premiere for the Utah Symphony next year. Several prominent guest artists, special events and guest conductors will also highlight the 2013-14 season. Principal Pops Conductor Jerry Steichen has also programmed an exciting Entertainment Series catering to the tastes of Utah arts lovers, and Associate Conductor Vladimir Kulenovic continues to program entertaining and educational family programs for music-loving young audiences in the Family and Lollipops Series. All three conductors will present their plans for the new season.
